Music:
Gathering:
- Joy to the World, CH 143
- Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming, CH 160
- Away in a Manger, CH 147
(Lisa told me I could/asked me to pick these this week. Lisa, do you want a break from leading them too?)
Carols through the Service:
- ‘Twas in the Moon of Wintertime, CH 166
- God’s Surprise, Iona HSNW 44-45 (I'll email a scan of this hymn.)
- Good Christian Friends, Rejoice, CH 164
- Hark! the Herald Angels Sing, CH 150
- How Great Our Joy!, CH 170
I'm not sure what order these will be yet, except that "How Great Our Joy!" will be the Communion Hymn.
Closing Song:
How about the refrain from "How Great Our Joy!" , the echoey part. We could even do it as an echo--with Lisa and/or Allen singing the first part and the congregation echoing. What do you think?
